Working With Portals

Working with portals is as simple as clicking the "My Portals" button into the main window or selecting "My Portals" from the "File" menu.

By doing this, "My Portals" window appears.
At the top of the window there is a toolbar with three buttons: "Add", "Edit" and "Delete".
Bellow the toolbar there is a grid containing the existing portals.

Add a new portal
If you want to add a new portal you can click the "Add" button from the toolbar.
Another way to add a new portal is to right-click on the grid to show up a popup menu; here you can select the "Add Portal" option.
In both cases you will see a dialog window where you can insert a name for the portal, the portal's URL and the URL for the login page on this portal.

If you don't know the URL for the login page, you can press the Browse button and a new window will be opened where you can browse for the login page. When you found the login page you can press the "Capture login page" button and you will see a message which tells you that the login page for this portal was successfully captured.

Now you can press the "OK" button and the new portal will be successfully added into the Portal Manager software or you can press the "Cancel" button to cancel the operation.

Edit an existing portal
If you want to edit informations about an existing portal you can select it from the grid and then you can click the "Edit" button or you can right-click it and then select the "Edit Portal" option from the popup menu that appears.
You can rename the portal, edit the url of the portal or the url of the login page. If you don't want to keep the changes, you can press the "Cancel" button or press the Escape (ESC) key on the keyboard. When you will press the "OK" button, the informations about the portal will be updated.

Delete an existing portal
If you want to delete an existing portal you can select it from the grid and then you can click the "Delete" button or you can right-click it and then select the "Delete Portal" option from the popup menu that appears.
A dialog window will appear; if you click the "Yes" button the portal will be deleted.
If you want to detele multiple portals, you can select them from the grid and press the "Delete" button from the toolbar.
Note: when you delete an existing portal, all informations about this portal will be deleted (e.g. reservations on this portal will be deteled).
